Charge comparison

N'djili International Airport (FIH)

Departing international passengers at Kinshasa's N'djili airport pay the US$50 GoPass and a US$5 statistics tax, in cash at the bank counter in the airport, before departure. The US$30 security fee in the news is, according to the Interior Ministry, an existing charge already inside international fares. A planned contract to run new border systems from that fee was signed in 2025 but had not come into force as of October 2026.

Lubumbashi International Airport (FBM)

Passengers leaving Lubumbashi pay the national Go-Pass, an airport development fee collected by the airport authority RVA. It costs US$50 for international flights and US$10 for domestic flights, as reported in July 2026. You pay it separately from your ticket and get a paper coupon to show before boarding. A traveller in April 2026 said a separate airport tax is paid at Lubumbashi too, amount not given. A US$30 security fee for international passengers was reported in 2025 as already inside ticket prices.
