Kigali airport fees: what you pay at KGL
Passengers leaving Kigali on an international flight pay an airport service charge of US$40 and a security charge of US$10, so US$50 in total. Domestic departures pay US$10 plus US$10. Both sit inside the ticket and children under two are exempt. The amounts come from the Rwanda eAIP, first edition, in force since 25 January 2024 and still the edition online in October 2026. The Rwanda Civil Aviation Authority adds an oversight fee worked out as 30 percent of these two charges.
Unconfirmed figures. The amounts on this page come from the Rwanda Civil Aviation Authority aeronautical publication (eAIP), edition of January 2024, still the current edition. We have not found a newer official notice to confirm them, so every charge is marked Unconfirmed. Check your ticket receipt or the airline before you travel.
